Highlights from the summer

The Hawaii Carlson clan didn't go anywhere this summer. Saving up $$ for important stuff this fall. One, being Vanessa going back to school this fall. More on that later.But here are some highlights..


Noe turned 17 this summer. How did that happen so fast? As you can see, we celebrated the moment with a dignified family picture.


I stood in line for almost 7 hours for Vanessa and Noe to see "ECLIPSE". The things we do for love. Gotta keep the women in my life happy. And they were! Had GREAT seats to see the movie. Did I see the movie? Heck no. I heard it was good though.


Our dogs never fail to amuse us. This is Koa, trying to sleep in Lola's bed. Lola is a chihuahua, by the way.

So, while we didn't go many places (who can afford to?) we're saving up for bigger things. Noe will be a senior this fall. Devin starts his third year of college and Vanessa is also going back to school as well. She's been working in education nearly 9 years (as an Education Assistant and MORE) and finally decided to go all the way and become a teacher. Really stoked for her!

Then there's this TWILIGHT convention in Honolulu the gals will be attending..
